What is resin bound driveway?
It is a permeable smooth surface compliant with SUDS regulations. Resin bound surfacing is made from a blend of aggregates coated with a clear UV-stable polyurethane resin and trowelled in by hand. Resin bound surfacing is water-permeable when laid on an open surface asphalt.
Resin bound driveways can also be overlaid existing suitable concrete and tarmac driveways subject to a site survey and may need additional drainage installed to comply with the current SUDS laws.
It is suitable for domestic driveways, patios pathways and car parks.
